Your Residence Visa is now issued with travel conditions. When these travel conditions expire, usually two years from the first date of issue, you must update your visa so that you can travel out of and return to New Zealand as a resident. If you meet certain criteria you will qualify for a Permanent Resident Visa meaning that you will never have to worry about your travel conditions again.
